Knowledge Management is the capability by which communities within an organisation capture the knowledge that is critical to them, constantly improve it, and make it available in the most effective manner to those people who need it, so that they can exploit it creatively to add value as a normal part of their work. The South East Public Health Knowledge Management Strategy shows the need for effective public health knowledge management in the South East. It puts public health knowledge management in context and describes the public health community’s vision for effective knowledge sharing. The strategy sets out the rationale, aim and objectives, provides an Action Plan and identifies who should be involved.
