Description:

The Quarterly National Household Survey (QNHS) is a largescale, nationwide survey of households in Ireland, carried out by the Central Statistics Office (CSO). It is designed to produce quarterly labour force estimates that include the official measure of employment and unemployment in the state. The survey began in September 1997, replacing the annual April Labour Force Survey (LFS). A module on health was added to the QNHS for Q3 2001, Q3 2007 and Q3 2010.
