Description:

This research measures free living physical activity in people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Sense Wear Armband and Shimmer accelerometers will be validated in people with RA and correlations between inflammatory blood markers and free-living physical activity in people with RA will be investigated. The research is funded by Intel Ireland and under the Enterprise Partnership Scheme (IRCSET PhD Scholarship research programme).
