Description:

The purpose of this survey is to produce data on the structure and distribution of earnings and information on job skills and vacancies. It is undertaken to comply with EU regulations on National Employment Costs and provide for national statistical requirements. The surveys' target population is businesses with 3 or more employees. The principal variables collected are: Collected from Employers: Number of employees, training provided by employers, pension arrangements for employees, paid hours worked and earnings of a representative sample of employees. Collected from Employees: Gender, nationality, education, occupation, employment history, work patterns, pensions arrangements etc.
