PURPOSE.There are several techniques for measuring macularpigment (MP) in vivo, of which Raman spectroscopy (RS) is arecently developed objective method. This study reports thereproducibility, test–retest variability, and validity of RS MPreadings, by comparing them with heterochromatic flickerphotometry (HFP).
