Description:

Trinity College Health and Sports Week takes place each year for one week during March.  It has been running since 2005.  Each year there is a different theme.  For example in 2011 it was Trinity, A Healthy Place to Be and in 2009 the theme was 'Vision for Health'. Each year there are different activities that people can try for free like Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, Disco Dancing, Croquet.  Where possible the activities are held outdoors to give them a high profile.  To encourage Healthy Eating Week there are healthy options available all over the college.  Typically we have a launch event where a guest speaker discusses a health topic.  In 2011, Dr Eva Orsmond of Orsmond Weight Loss Clinics discussed the importance of healthy eating for academic success.
