Creator:

Subject Keywords: Health Services Management Centre (HSMC) policy paper 8
Topic: Health Economics (Draft)
Chronic Conditions
Type: Report
Region: United Kingdom
Description:

This paper seeks to identify ‘10 high impact changes’ with regards to prevention in older people’s services. In presenting the ten high impact changes, the authors have drawn on the three-fold Interlinks definition of primary, secondary and tertiary forms of prevention – moving from the former towards the latter as the policy paper progresses. In practice, of course, some interventions defy easy categorisation and may combine different types of prevention at the same time.
