Wise the BAP (Bangor Arts Project)

Type: Article
Region: Republic of Ireland
Northern Ireland
Description:

An exciting new project in North Down Community Resource Centre each Tuesday evening until mid December 2009. The project will involve the creation of 'small' works of art, anything from the size of a postage stamp to a postcard and many of these will be given away in a spirit of generosity (but you will, of course be able to keep some of you own artwork). You can expect to draw, paint and print.

The classes are free but places are limited. Classes are open to anyone but we are particularly keen to register persons from various ethnic backgrounds to bring to life the theme of diversity and respect for difference that will flow throughout the course. Wise the BAP is principally aimed at adults (since their access to art classes is limited and the costs can be prohibitive).

Registration is on the first night, 15 September, from 6.30pm - 7pm.
