Latest figures published by the Health Protection Agency show that there has been a 2% increase in the number of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and other conditions diagnosed in genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinics between 2003 and 2004. Although new diagnoses at GUM clinics in the UK remain high, the rate of increase between 2003 and 2004 was less than that observed since the start of the decade. Click on the link to read more.
