Description:

INVITATION TO KNOW YOUR LIMITS ALCOHOL ACTION EVENT
Date: Tuesday 3 April 2007
Location: Austin Court, 80 Cambridge Street, Birmingham BN1 2NP
Time: 10.00am â?" 3.30pm (lunch will be provided)
As part of the Know Your Limits alcohol harm reduction campaign, we are writing
to invite you to an alcohol action event.
The aim of this event is to assist you in developing your own local alcohol communications,
particularly those targeting young people, using existing tools from the Know Your Limits
campaign. This event is open to people in the West Midlands region that are responsible
for developing and implementing alcohol campaigns. It will be an excellent opportunity
to network with other practitioners and meet people face to face.
The day is jointly organised by the Public Health Group of the Government Office in
the West Midlands and the communications consultancy Forster, with whom many of
you will already have worked with. There will be an overview of the Know Your Limits
campaign together with examples of successful local activity.
There will also be workshops led by a facilitator on communications planning and
media relations.
Please reply to emma@forster.co.uk by Friday 23 March to confirm whether or not you
will be coming. Please note there are a limited number of places available, which will
be allocated on a first come first served basis.
If you have any questions about the event please contact:
â?¢ Emma Wallace â?" emma@forster.co.uk or 020 7403 2230
