Description:

The South East Health & Well-Being Strategy was published in February 2008 and sets out the vision for improving the health and well-being of people living in the region.

The production of the strategy was led by the Department of Health South East and followed a period of consultation with regional and local stakeholders including South Central and South East Coast Strategic Health Authorities, Government Office for the South East, South East England Development Agency, and representatives from the NHS and local government.

Part of a suite of documents published to support the strategy, this draft sustainability appraisal has been undertaken by the South East Public Health Observatory on behalf of the Department of Health South East.
