ISQUA18-1138Applying Structured Quality Improvement Methods to Reduce HIV-related Stigma and Discrimination in Healthcare Facilities: Implementation of the Southeast Asia Stigma Reduction Learning Network

Objectives: HIV-related stigma and discrimination in the healthcare setting have been associated with reduced access to HIV prevention and treatment services among persons living with HIV (PLHIV) and key populations at high risk of HIV acquisition, yet little work to date has sought to apply structured quality improvement (QI) methods to stigma reduction. In this study, we describe the implementation of the Southeast Asia Stigma Reduction Learning Network to address HIV-related stigma and discrimination among healthcare workers in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand, and Viet Nam.
