‘Thorough scrub’ for Hawkins House

05 Nov 2013

By Lloyd Mudiwa.

in the unlikely event of a hygiene monitoring visit, the offices of the Minister for Health Dr James Reilly and of his two Ministers of State in the Department of Health (DoH) — for Primary Care Alex White and Mental Health Kathleen Lynch — should not be found wanting after the Department awards a tender it has issued for “thorough and regular” general office cleaning services.

The DoH issued a tender for office and external window-cleaning and associated janitorial services and supplies providers for its 12-storey headquarters at Hawkins House in Poolbeg Street, Dublin 2.

The Department is the only tenant and 10 floors and offices are mostly occupied.

Site visits will be facilitated for prospective tenderers on November 5, 6 and 7 only, prior to the tender submission deadline, noon December 12.
