Want to find out about civil society organisations in Ireland?  The new benefacts.ie website may well contain the information you seek

Benefacts is a new organisation that aims to promote the accessibility and transparency of Irish civil society organisations.  The new Benefacts database brings together public data about Irish non-profits from many sources in one database, where the data is cleaned and digitised where necessary. It includes a wide array of non-commercial, non-governmental organisations involved in the arts & culture, education, environment, health, local or international development, philanthropy, politics, religion, sport and social care.  Thanks to support from government and philanthropies, there is no cost involved either to be listed on the website or to view the information. You can search the database by keyword, company name, location, company number, sector and sub sector, amongst other options.  Benefacts can tell you what these organisations were set up to do, who is in charge, and where their funding comes from.
